Recap
In the top of the first, Mace, the Los Gatos starting pitcher was wild and walked two batters and hit another but SVC didn’t capitalize as one runner was picked off 1st and another was caught stealing 3rd.  Los Gatos started better, with a long double to left by leadoff hitter Crane followed by a double to right center by Olivet that scored Crane.  Olivet was caught stealing 3rd on a strong throw by the SVC catcher, Michael Manriquez.  In the 3rd, Shannon replaced the hard throwing Mace for Los Gatos.  In the bottom of the 3rd, Anthony Hasse retired the first batter on a grounder but Crane hit a line single to left, Olivet reached on an error at first base, Cramer singled in a run and Hasse walked the next batter.  Another run scored on a passed ball but the runner from 2nd was thrown out on a good throw to 3rd by Hasse.  In the 4th, Raul Gutierrez hit a line single to right with one out.  Logan Nowlin followed with another hit to right but Gutierrez was thrown out at 3rd trying to advance on the hit, Nowlin advancing to 2nd on the throw.  With Nowlin running with the pitch, Max Brogley hit a slow grounder to 3rd and beat it out for a hit, Nowlin scoring on the throw to 1st.  Brandon Cross followed with a soft liner over the 2nd baseman for a single with Brogley advancing to 3rd.  Brogley scored when a balk on Shannon was called.  With Manriquez replacing Hasse at pitcher, Los Gatos came right back in the bottom of the 4th, scoring 4 runs on two errors, a walk, a long double to left center by Cramer for 2 runs and 2 more runs on a double by Marshall.  Hasse made a nice fake throw to 1st then threw to 3rd to pick the runner off to end the inning.  Los Gatos scored another 4 runs in the 6th on an error, two walks and two single to close out the scoring.
